Dave was a Navy Veteran, serving within the Korean Conflict on destroyers; his remaining task was Quartermaster Second Class on the USS Laffey.
Dave graduated from West Virginia College in 1959. He had an extended profession in textiles manufacturing administration, first with FMC, and subsequently with Avtex Fibers. He additionally served as Warren County Assistant County Supervisor, retiring in 1999.
Dave was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Winchester.
